Extended Services

Early Birds Breakfast Club

This  club will run from 7.30-8.30am, after which children from Years 1 to 6 will join the rest of the school in the main playground. Reception age children will be accompanied by a member of the breakfast club team, to the Reception outdoor classroom. These children will be supervised until the doors open at 8.45am.

Breakfast includes a selection of cereals, toast with accompaniment, fruit juice, milk or water and fresh fruit. The price per session is £5 (per child). There will be a range of games and table top activities that children will be able to choose from during their time in the club.

Please click on the following links to download a registration form and a booking form.

Priority will be given to regular bookings (usually made a half term in advance).  Booking forms can be emailed directly to the school at school@st-johnfisher.merton.sch.uk

Ad hoc places should be booked 48 hours in advance also by emailing the school office school@st-johnfisher.merton.sch.uk

Please note that a child arriving on an ad hoc basis who has not been registered (by using the registration form attached) will not be able to attend.

If you wish your child to attend (on either a regular or a more ad hoc basis), you MUST have completed the registration form in advance, and return it directly to the school office (we require signed paper copies) in an envelope marked ‘Breakfast Club registration’.

The after school club is run by the YMCA and is open term times Mon – Fri; 3:15pm – 6pm.

The after school club is a time for the children to relax and interact with children of different ages.
The children have access to a main room where there are activities set up daily, the ICT Suite, the playground, and the halls (depending on weather). The children have the choice to do their homework which can be done in the quiet room.

The children are provided with a light healthy snack which is optional, with fruit and water provided daily with self-access.

The YMCA have fun introducing children to activities such as:
• Talkative Mondays – children can talk about what they have done over the weekend
• Treaty Tuesdays – a delicious little treat offered by the ASC
• Little Bakers Fridays – we can bake some incredibly delicious snacks to take home and share with our family.

During Half Terms we offer Holiday Play schemes (8:30am – 6pm) that are held at on site at the after school club. These are charged £30 per day (no sibling discount). We take the children on trips every Wednesday and these will be priced at £40.
When attending the Play scheme parents will need to provide their children with a sustainable packed lunch and suitable clothes depending on the weather.
