Advent Service
St George's Cathedral
We were delighted to take part in the annual Diocesan Advent Service at St George's Cathedral this year. We took our chaplains and school choir. The chaplains performed, sharing a reading and acting out the story. They then joined the choir to sing 'It was on a starry night'. We were so proud of them all.
The children from St John Fisher took gifts to offer at the service. These gifts were donated to the Catholic Children's Society Crisis Fund, helping provide gifts at Christmas for those in need. We also reflected upon the promises we made for the season of Advent.
