SANCTA FAMILIA CATHOLIC ACADEMY TRUST 

Sancta Familia, Latin for The Holy Family, is the name given to one of the five Catholic Academy/Education Trusts in the Archdiocese of Southwark, (listed below in alphabetical order) supporting the Archdiocese's vision of  'forming geographically sensible families of schools'.

St. John Fisher is proud to be working alongside schools in the Merton, Sutton and Croydon Deaneries, building on highly successful existing federations, partnerships and collaborations, in joining Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust in December 2024.

Sancta Familia has been many years in the making and has its roots firmly in the belief  ‘each has talents according to their ability' (St Matthew 25).

Sancta Familia is a CAT that is outward facing and understands that Catholic education is stronger as one body united in Christ serving the common good.

The Mission of Sancta Familia CAT is to provide our students with a holistic education focusing  on academic excellence, faith formation through Catholic Social Teaching

Sancta Familia will provide exemplary levels of support to our schools to ensure the highest quality of education through ambitious, impactful leadership, governance and financial management. 

The Trust will ensure sustainable recruitment, retention and professional development of staff at all levels to enable a well-qualified, professional and expert staff community.
