Teaching and Learning Assistant

St John Fisher (RC) Primary School – West Wimbledon

21.25 hours per week 38 weeks p.a. (08:45–13:00 Monday to Friday)

22nd April 2025 or as soon as possible

Scale: ME3/4 - Point 3 and 4 (Point 3 full time salary £27,729 pro-rata)

Equivalent approximate monthly gross salary: £1,189

Fixed term contract ending 22nd July in the first instance

St John Fisher RC Primary School is looking for a Teaching and Learning Assistant who is passionate about children’s learning and emotional wellbeing, to work alongside our experienced teaching staff. The successful candidate may be required to support children with additional needs, in order to enable them to fully access the teaching and learning to reach their potential. At times this will include working with groups of children, both in and outside of the classroom, under the guidance of the class teacher and special needs coordinator.
